Music Resources

In order to locate your music for class, you can search online by Googling the song title along with PDF and you might find it for free. If not you can use sources like Music Notes or Sheet Music Plus.  The are also free sites like Art Song Central and IMSLP. For a subscription you can join SCRIBD. The NYU Bobst Library also has a great number of resources too. Need help pronouncing your foreign language text? This FREE text to speech site is a great resource. Also double check and research arias here.

Here is the information for your recital: Recital Planning, Recital Protocol, CV Recital, and MT Instructions. Professor Heldman will be approving your recital after you follow these guidelines and turn this in as instructed. Also included here is the recital preperation schedule.

You will be assigned a Dropbox folder that will list your repertoire for the term. Once you locate your PDFs of your music please load them into your folder. You will need to choose your accompanist (list). They will have a link to your Dropbox Folder to accompany you for your lessons. You are responsible for updating and maintenance of your repertoire sheet. Voice majors, here is your music for term is on this link. Here are the links for the voice majors and non-majors  female vocal track and male vocal track. These tracks are NOT perfect...but will give you a warm up plan of action. For the female track-if you want to do the last exercise higher, feel free to turn off the track and go up more at the end and work your way back down without the track. For the male track the last exercise is new and will teach it to you this week. Looking forward to hearing these starting the week of April 19th. If your situation is an emergency, please send me an email with the details of your situation and text me to read the email. Please do not text between 9pm-9am.
