About Me

I  have been a performer for over 20 years and have had extensive training in college and in the professional world. After working on my doctorate, I started my professional career as an opera singer in NYC. I have performed throughout the United States and Europe.  Some of my performance venues include Carnegie Hall and the Metropolitan Opera. My degrees are in performance, and I also have my FL teaching certificate. Previously I have taught at the Boys Choir of Harlem in NYC, Brooklyn and Queens Conservatory, Millkin University, Medgar Evers College, Monmouth University and NYU. In 2014 I completed my advanced certificate in vocal pedagogy (with honors) at NYU.  Upon gradations I was hired as ​a professor of voice in which I teach musical theatre and classical voice to graduates and undergraduates. I also specialize in rehabilitating singers that have a vocal pathology.
